The Ultimate Hockey Experience
Thirty players sat in a dressing room getting their gear on. You could feel the anticipation in the air. Two Lethbridge Minor Hockey Association teams are ready to take to the ice. The Atom B Titans in one dressing room the Atom B in another. You would think to be like any other league game except for the one difference. The anticipation was for a huge opportunity, a pond hockey experience with members of the Lethbridge Hurricanes hockey team. Members of the Hurricanes organization step onto the ice with both teams for the ultimate pond hockey experience. “My favorite part about the event was the mini game that we played with the Hurricanes. That was really cool.” says Brendon Morden, (Atom B Titan goalie) of his experience. “It was awesome to have pucks being shot on you by Carter Ashton.” He added.
The experience continued off the ice as the players were treated to hot dogs and a personal autograph session with the players. The icing on the cake sort of speak was the draw for tickets to a Hurricanes game…in the Enmax suite. The prize pack included tickets, the suite, and of course food and drink. The luck winner was Davis Juell. Davis shared the experience with his teammates, which brought the experience full circle for the Titans.
