Welcome to the premiere issue of Lethbridge Hockey Magazine!

This is a very exciting time at Lethbridge Hockey Magazine.  During hockey this season we have found ourselves in many a rink.  Spending a considerable amount of time in local arenas provide you with some time to think.

Hockey is a sport that is enjoyed by many.  The purpose of this magazine is to provide information about the sport of hockey in the City of Lethbridge. Our target audience is from the young participate to the die-hard fan.  Our goal is to provide articles that are both entertaining and informative. The primary focus of this magazine will be on all facets of hockey in Lethbridge (minor hockey, Lethbridge Athletes Association, U of L Pronghorns, Lethbridge Hurricanes, Lethbridge Oldtimers Hockey) and other various hockey leagues and divisions within Lethbridge.

For 2009/10 season expect the magazine to include the outlying areas of Southern Alberta.  Also we are planning to introduce up to four issues for the 2009/10 season.   Issue number one starting in the late fall, issue two in early winter, issue three in the new year and issue four in the spring.

Hockey is the sport that creates the memories and friendships.  From the players on the ice to the coaches on the bench to the parents and fans in the stands hockey is a sport that brings so many facets together.  These facets form memories that will last a lifetime.
